A project for the reduction of iron-pollution in aluminium-pots and reduction of iron-pollution in prime-aluminium metal.
This project is abandoned as Prebake-anodes has become the industry-standard for the aluminium-producing cells. In these Prebakes the formation of carbon is more homogenous and therefore create a more equal and stable condition in which aluminium is produced. The way the anodes are being maintained is also fundamentally different and this gives control in a different, more secure way too. Prebake production also gives a better way of controlling pollution.
